Had this installed professionally so can't attest to the difficulty of installation. We have this on our covered porch to help with heat and bugs during Midwest summers. We have been using this for a few weeks now and am thrilled with our decision. The fan is really nice and looks way more expensive than it was. We chose the dark bronze which was a perfect match to our existing door hardware and fit the style we were intending. The blades are almost silent and there are no additional noise coming from the fan housing. It provides great airflow at all settings. Initially I was worried that it didn't rotate fast enough but with the larger blades, more than enough air is created. The app was easy to install and has worked flawlessly. Would give this purchase a 10/10.
