As you might have noticed, this chair is a little bit more expensive than similar cast aluminum patio chairs. I liked the look of it and I bet that it was higher quality than what I was seeing at the big box stores. I was right. The chair is also somewhat larger in the seat than what is typically sold, which makes it more comfortable and gives it a quality look. Putting together the three we bought was fun--with two people. The step-by-step directions with illustrations were clear. I'm tired of being offered junk; these chairs made me smile.
