With the help of a sturdy counterweight in the shape of a lily pad, the imaginative bird balances upon the inside of an outstretched spoon. Although the finch can be picked up, the inventive use of the spoon's natural bowl shape prevents the bird from from falling off. The garden accent includes a 35" steel stake that allows Flatware Finch to peek above garden plants. Designed and made by hand in the USA. Bird size is 6" x 4", overall size is 38" x 8.5" Note: The stake, spiral and counterweight are crafted from raw steel. Once exposed to the outdoors, these elements will rust to create further contrast with the stainless steel utensil bird. The vintage flatware styles will vary slightly.

Very cute bird made from flatware. One of the spoons had a small, sharp piece of welding that wasn't filed down, but i filed it smooth.
