While Alexander “Skip” Spence’s Oar might not be the easiest record to absorb, if it speaks to you or you’re interested in it, this is the best compilation you could ask for. It features the complete Oar album, along with all bonus tracks included on the previous reissue from Sundazed Records, along with another two discs of alternate versions, rejected takes, and even a few unreleased tracks along with the excellent liner notes. It’s not for everyone, but if it’s for you, you need this!
